calm and serene residential area surrounded by lush green meadows, sparkling
water bodies and shady trees; equipped with every luxury and convenience.
This project is the vision of Mr. Hafeez Butt who conceived this idea
on his return
from a London trip, where he had a chance to visit a similar township.
Back home in Pakistan, he set on to replicate the charm and beauty of
that complex in a place that was far from the hustle and bustle of the
city, yet close enough to be within short commuting distance to city and
back.
Finding the right architect to bring this idea into shape was the next step. After rejecting several options, Mr. Butt found the people who could match his vision. And so the project entered into the planning stage.
A lot of thinking went into deciding the location of this natural paradise. Various options such as Steel Town and the suburbs were considered but disregarded as they were too far from the city for a convenient living. Eventually, Mr. Butt came up with the idea of developing Green Wood near the Northern Bypass and Lyari Express. A mere 20 minute drive from the city centre and much before the planned DHA Phase IX, this area was agreed upon as the ideal location for this green heaven. And so came into being the Billy’s Green Wood Residency.
